Indian retailers begin Grand Theft Auto 5 preorders

Preorders for Grand Theft Auto 5 had begun internationally a while back, and a few Indian retailers have now started accepting preorders too.

Flipkart.com was the first to begin preorders, offering both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions for Rs 2,799.

Shortly after, Game4u also listed Rockstar’s upcoming open-world title at the same price.

Nextworld, meanwhile, has the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions listed at Rs 2,499, and strangely even has the as yet unannounced PC version up for preorder at Rs 999.

No official pricing has been confirmed for India as yet, neither has Rockstar announced a concrete release date. The spring release window, however, hints at an April or May release.
