Indies praise MW2 launch support

Indie retailers have praised Activision Blizzard and Centresoft for their support during the launch of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Earlier today, we reported that 3 million copies of the hugely popular game had been shipped to the UK, and Independents assure us that they have received a fair portion of this stock.

Indies have certainly been looked after,” Chips’ MD Don McCabe told MCV. Centresoft has done well to support us and get us plenty of stock. It doesn’t help that the game is being launched on a Tuesday, but they’ve done a bloody good job.”

Gameseek boss Stephen Staley added: Stock has been fantastic. For this, I do thank Activision and Centresoft dearly.”
