[Industry news] Ryan Lastimosa Joins Devoted Studios as Studio Art Director

This is a press release posted in addition to our usual editorial content.

Ryan Lastimosa joins Devoted Studios as Studio Art Director. A more than two-decade AAA veteran behind Apex Legends, Titanfall, and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare – his decision to make this move says something about where the industry is headed.

Devoted Studios is a trusted co-development, porting, and end-to-end art production partner for game studios worldwide. Since 2018, the studio has built a 250+ person team across 15+ countries, with credits including Avowed, Arc Raiders, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Overwatch 2, and Risk of Rain 2.

Ryan has collaborated with Devoted Studios on several initiatives before officially joining the team. With more than 20 years helping define the visual identity of some of the most recognised franchises in gaming, he brings the kind of senior creative judgment that complex productions need on the partner side. At Devoted, he will work directly with client studios – providing high-level art direction, creative strategy, and hands-on collaboration across projects.

He joins a leadership team that includes Jason Millena, Executive Creative Director, whose credits span Game of Thrones: Beyond the Wall, Jurassic World: Primal Ops, Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth; and Flavius Alecu, Chief Technology Officer, with engineering background across Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V – a signal that Devoted is building the senior bench that major studios expect from a trusted co-development partner.
