iPhone trade-ins arrive at UK Apple stores

Consumers are now able to trade-in their old iPhones at Apple stores in the UK.

The trade-in scheme was revealed ahead of the iPhone 5S and 5C launch early last month but at the time was not expected to arrive on this side of the Atlantic.

That’s all changed now, however, with up to 175 available depending on the type of handset and its condition. Apple says the handsets will be reused or recycled”.

Note too that customers are only able to trade-in against the purchase of a new iPhone. There are plenty of other options out there, of course, many of which offer more cash and are more flexible.
