JAPAN: New Dead or Alive for PSP

Publisher Tecmo has lifted the lid on a brand new instalment in the Dead or Alive series on PSP – though those hoping for a fighter had best look elsewhere.

Joystiq reports that Dead or Alive: Paradise has more in common with the quirky Xbox series DOA: Beach Volleyball, though it does lack on of that IP’s main features – volleyball.

Instead, the new title is actually a port of a mobile game and is basically a collection of mini-games the aim of which is chiefly to unlock clothes for the game’s assorted bikini-clad females.

The game is due out in Japan in the spring. There’s no word on whether or not it will be released outside of Japan.
