Jet Set Radio confirmed for Vita

Sega has announced that cult Dreamcast hit Jet Set Radio is coming to PlayStation Vita.

The game will be shown off to the public for the first time at E3 the week after next.

It boasts HD visuals but doesn’t alter the popular original soundtrack, which will be present and correct just as it was in the original title.

It will also incorporate some of Vita’s specific control options. The touch screen will be used for applying graffiti, while the console’s camera will also be utilised in some fashion.

The fan reaction to our recent reveal of Jet Set Radio has been incredible!” Sega’s senior VP of digital business Haruki Satomi stated. As Jet Set Radio is focused on creativity, the touch capabilities of the PlayStation Vita are proving to be a perfect fit.”

The game is also being released on Xbox Live Arcade, PSN and PC this summer.
