Killzone: Shadow Fall update does away with need to spend cash on IAPs

Multiplayer perks for PS4 shooter Killzone: Shadow Fall can now be purchased via credit earned within the game.

Polygon reports that a new in-game currency called Valor has been added to the title via its most recent patch. It’s the same currency featured in Vita title Killzone: Mercenary.

Points won in multiplayer can now be converted into Valor and then spent on unlocking items and abilities that were previously locked behind a real-money paywall. This includes the likes of skins, voice over packs and boosts, all priced between $0.99 and $3.99.
