Konami apologises for Metal Gear Online issues

Konami is offering up free in-game items for Metal Gear Online to apologise for the game’s rocky launch.

VG247reports players have run into issues including losing connection, not being able to connect and shaky matchmaking.

To attempt to make up for the troubles, Konami is distributing 3000GP to all players and extending the duration of the currently running XP Boost one week by means of a promo code.

The service has been stabilized for the moment and the development team will continue to work to make the experience more pleasant,” according to the firm.

MGS V: The Phantom Pain’s Metal Gear Online is the third installment of the online multiplayer series. It launched on PlayStation and Xbox consoles earlier this month, and is expected out on PC this January.
