LBP endless runner Run Sackboy! Run! hits Vita, mobile next month

Sony is bringing Media Molecule’s LittleBigPlanet series to iOS and Android devices next month, in the form of endless runner Run Sackboy! Run!

The PlayStation US Blog details the upcoming free-to-play title, which will launch in October on PS Vita in addition to the mobile versions.

The title does pack microtransactions for exclusive LBP3 costumes, but apparently the in-game items can be earned by playing without paying as well.

Though Sony didn’t specifically brand Run Sackboy! Run! as an endless runner, it certainly looks the part – with Sackboy and other LBP characters racing through backdrops filled with coins, along with a leaderboard system and other dressings of the genre.
