Lego Marvel Super Heroes announced for autumn 2013 release

Warner Bros has announced the first Lego game set in the Marvel universe – Lego Marvel Super Heroes, set for release later this year.

Developed by TT Games, the accomplished studio behind previous Lego games, Lego Marvel Super Heroes will feature several popular Marvel heroes and over 100 unlockable characters from the Marvel universe.

The original plot sees Nick Fury calling upon Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, Wolverine and other heroes to save Earth from threats posed by the likes of Loki and Galactus.

The game will allow players to explore New York and travel beyond Earth to famous locations from several Marvel franchises.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes will feature a family-friendly blend of action-adventure, platforming and puzzles, all infused with the Lego franchise’s signature brand of humour.

The game is scheduled for release in the third quarter for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, PC, DS and 3DS.
