Sony has announced the extras scheduled for inclusion of the Collectors’ Edition version of LittleBigPlanet 2, which is due out on PS3 in January.

The SKU will come packaged in a SteelBook case. The transparent plastic sleeve onto which the game’s logos are printed slides off to reveal a clean image of Sackboy’s zip.

The game will also include additional DLC content. As well as five PSN avatars, seven Sackboy costumes will be bundled – Toy Story 3’s ‘Alien’, ‘Clu’ from Tron: Legacy, ‘Gonzo’ from the Muppets and four more generic animal costumes.

Those who pre-order the game from certain retailers will also receive codes to download costumes for iconic Sony characters Jak, Daxter, Ratchet and Clank.

Sony says that further DLC inclusions specific to particular European territories will be announced in due course.
