LittleBigPlanet community grows to nearly 2m

Sony’s impressive PS3 exclusive platformer LittleBigPlanet has hit a big milestone with the news that the game’s online community now stands at nearly 2m users.

In addition, the number of user-created levels now available for players to download has hit 725,000. Since Media Molecule’s game launched last November, it has been played more than 125m times.

LittleBigPlanet is giving people from every walk of life the opportunity to express themselves creatively,” SCEE’s marketing director of content and platforms Mark Hardy stated.

The game is just the start. This is creative gaming; never ending experiences that take on lives of their own through their players.
