Lost Planet 3 release date confirmed

Remember Lost Planet 3? It’s been almost a year since it was announced, but at last the game has a release date.

Capcom has confirmed that the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC title will arrive on June 28th in Europe. It will hit America earlier in the week on June 25th.

The game was first revealed at Capcom’s Captivate event last April. It’s being developed by Call of Duty: Finest Hour, Turning Point: Fall of Liberty and Legendary creators Spark Unlimited.

June is traditionally a quiet month for games retailers but Capcom’s announcement adds to what will already be a busy schedule in 2013.

Other titles due out in June include Sony’s The Last of Us, Capcom’s sci-fi outing Remember Me, Disney Infinity, Sega’s Company of Heroes 2 and Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
