Mac version confirmed as The Witcher 2 nears 2m sales

Cult RPG hit The Witcher 2 has sold more than 1.7m copies worldwide in its first year.

The game debuted on PC in May 2011, and was more recently released on Xbox 360 back in April.

Developer CD Projekt Red has confirmed that a Mac version is now in the works, due for release this autumn, according to CVG.

The studio also said the enhanced Xbox 360 edition will be released in Japan on August 23rd.

Earlier this week, Danish retailers let slip that the company is planning to bring the original Witcher to both Xbox 360 and PS3.

Yesterday, CD Projekt Red announced it is wroking on a new triple-A cyberpunk RPG. Expect more details on this from E3 next week.
