Mario and Luigi Wii Remote Plus peripherals arrive next month

Mario and Luigi-branded Wii Remote Plus controllers will launch next month in North America.

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata announced the pair during the latestNintendo Direct event yesterday, stating they’ll arrive in their suited colors of red and green.

No word on whether the peripherals will make their way out to other regions outside of US and Canada.

The remotes will hit shelves on November 1st at a suggested retail price of $39.99.
