Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon Wii U Premium bundle due out this month, costs £240

A new Wii U SKU will include two of the platform’s most popular multiplayer games.

The Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon Wii U Premium Pack will include digital copies of the titular titles, coming with the racing game pre-installed and a download code voucher for the squid shooter.

Mario Kart 8 was the Wii U’s fastest-selling title to date at the time of its release, and spurred sales of the console by an impressive 666 per cent.

Meanwhile, Splatoon has found success in the eSports sector, inspiring a $1 million tournament dedicated solely to the game.

As well as the two million-selling games, the bundle will include a Premium Wii U.

To remind you, the pricier version of the machine comes with 32GB of memory and a black colour scheme, contrasting the 8GB and white tone offered by the Basic Wii U.

The Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon Wii U Premium Pack is set to hit shelves in Europe in October 30th, priced at 239.99.
