Mass Effect theme park attraction in the works

Electronic Arts has partnered with theme park Great America of California to construct a brand new attraction based on the Mass Effect franchise.

The attraction will be on display in the theme park’s Action Theater starting in 2016. It will feature motion-based seating, a live narrator that interacts with park attendees, 3D and 4D effects.

It’s not clear if series developer Bioware is involved with the creative side of the project at this time.

EA isn’t the only publisher to announce a recent theme park collaboration. Earlier this month, Ubisoft revealed it intends to open its own park in Malaysia by 2020.
