MCM Group expects biggest year ever

A new Birmingham Expo will help fire MCM Group to record levels in 2012.

Last year, the company’s six shows drew in an all-time high of 170,000 attendees.In addition to the usual London and Midlands MCM Expos, the Group will launch the MCM Expo Birmingham Comic Con in March.

As usual, games publishers are invited to showcase their wares alongside the biggest names in movies, comics and manga.

The new event will run alongside collectables convention Memorabilia at the NEC in Birmingham from March 31st to April 1st.

This allows us to offer publishers a platform to reach people across the UK directly throughout the whole of 2012, with events taking place from February to November,” said event organiser Bryan Cooney.
