First PS Vita accessories emerge

The first in a slew of PS Vita peripherals will hit shelves next week.

Over ten accessory firms are working on Vita products which will arrive in time for the console’s UK release on February 22nd.These include at least 30 carry cases, starter packs, protective covers and stands.

A4T will launch various 4Gamers system carry cases officially licensed by Sony later this month or in early February.

We are confident the PS Vita will have a very successful launch in the market in February,” said A4T’s sales and marketing director Bill Stirling.

Snakebyte has seven Vita accessories in the works, as does Hori. The latter’s line-up includes a stand for watching films.

Other firms working on Vita accessories include BigBen, Exspect, Sunflex, PDP, I-Globe, Snakebyte, Blaze, Imp Gaming, Venom, Crown, PDP, Mad Catz and Subsonic. Accessory distributors handling Vita peripherals include AntiGrav, Interactive Ideas and Meroncourt.
