MCV Nordic launch nears

Mats Nylund has been appointed editor of MCV Nordic, a new business site for the local games community.

Covering Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland, MCV Nordic will launch on Monday March 12th. It will address all aspects of the industry, from publishing, retail and distribution to games development, iOS, mobile, browser games and recruitment.

And to whet your appetites ahead of the full MCV Nordic site launch, Mats will be posting content to a dedicated feed right here on MCV UK from today.

Mats has written about games since 1997, as a freelancer as well as a full time editor at Swedish PC Gamer and Super PLAY magazines. He is also a regular guest at popular podcast Radiogamer and others.

You can contact him at Mats.Nylund@mcvnordic.com.

The launch of MCV Nordic follows the success of MCV Pacific, which arrived for the Australian and New Zealand markets in October.

The commercial development of MCV Nordic is being handled by Christer Engstrom, who launched the first video games TV channel in Sweden and hosts the local annual trade awards and two TV shows about games.

To find out how MCV Nordic can support your business year-round across its online, email and social channels, email Christer.Engstrom@mcvnordic.com.

Also, to sign-up for the completely free MCV Nordic News Digest email service, which will launch later this month in conjunction with the main MCV Nordic website, email mcvnordic@intentmedia.co.uk with your name, job title, company name, nature of your company’s business and the country in which you’re based.
