MCV’s 12 Games of Christmas: Far Cry 4

Far Cry was always a popular IP, but it rose to new heights with the excellent Far Cry 3, which has shifted around 10m units globally.

Now the series is coming to new platforms in Far Cry 4, which is one of this Christmas’ biggest video game launches. The critics have been raving about it, too, and it has a Metacritic score of 86.

This new title builds on Far Cry 3, and takes fans to the Himalayas. There’s an abundance of wildlife to combat and a new multiplayer mode.

PS4 gamers can also let friends play with them online, even if that friend doesn’t own the game.
