Medal of Honor Limited Edition revealed

EA has announced a special edition of Medal of Honor that will hit shelves alongside the standard SKU on October 15th.

The Limited Edition allows buyers to play as a Tier 1 Operator – an elite modern soldier who wields a unique MP7 weapon. Players of the upgraded FPS will also gain day-one access to the TOZ-194 and 820MC2 shotguns, while owners of the standard Medal of Honor game must rank up to unlock them.

Access to a weapon like the MP7 will allow players to experience a tool developed with the Special Operations Community in mind,” said Medal of Honor’s executive producer Greg Goodrich.

With its light weight, high rate of fire and its ability to penetrate body armor, the MP7 handles like a pistol yet allows targets to be engaged like a rifle.”

EA’s popular Medal of Honor FPS franchise has been running for 11 years. The latest game leaves behind the traditional World War II setting and is set in modern Afghanistan.

Both standard and Limited Edition Medal of Honor games are available to pre-order on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
