Bigpoint hires Euro CEO

Free-to-play online games publisher Bigpoint has hired a second CEO to handle business at the firm’s Hamburg office.

Gamasutra reports that former Discovery Networks EMEA MD Arthur Bastings will be taking on the new role, leaving current CEO Heiko Hubertz to lead the firm’s US office.

I think it makes total sense that we have two CEOs in the company if I’m in the U.S. and we need someone here at the Hamburg headquarters,” Hubertz, who moved to the United States a year ago, said.
