Deadly Premonition coming to PS3

Divisive horror title Deadly Premonition will shed its Xbox 360 exclusivity next year and stalk onto PlayStation.

Sony’s Playstation Blog has revealed that a Director’s Cut will be released for PS3 in 2013.

It will include the original game, as well as new features such as HD graphics, an updated control scheme, DLC and a brand new scenario from director Hidetaka ‘Swery’ Suehiro.

Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut follows FBI agent Francis York Morgan as he investigates the murder of a young woman and tries to survive attacks from killer and strange supernatural creatures.

While it was released for PS3 in Japan back in 2010, it has only been available on Xbox 360 in the West. The original 360 release received extremely mixed reviews, but the game soon gathered a cult following.
