GamesRadar+ hit 11.3m users in December

Future’s GamesRadar+ has smashed its monthly user records in December 2015 with 11.3m people visiting the website.

This is the second record-breaking month in a row after the site hit 9.8m unique users during November 2015.

Furthermore, this growth in December represents a 29 per cent year-on-year growth over the 8.8m users GamesRadar+ saw during December 2014.

In September 2014, publisher Future announced it was merging its Total Film, SFX Online and GamesRadar brands into GamesRadar+.

The firm then closed its CVG games site, with games news and reviews now being posted to GamesRadar+.

We’ve been incredibly fortunate this past year to hire some immensely talented writers to add to this already fantastic team,” global editor-in-chief Sophia Tong said.

The entire editorial team has worked diligently to produce the most relevant and thoughtful stories that resonates with our readers. Strengthening our news team to provide around the clock coverage has been invaluable, and we’re delighted to see that our entertainment coverage has been well-received by our gaming audience.

We’re also very thankful for our community and readership across all channels, who supported us through the many phases of our site. We can’t wait to share the next evolution of our site in 2016.”
