Gaming Istanbul Developers Conference opens call for speakers

The organisers behind Gaming Istanbul, a new Turkish games expo, is opening applications for studios who want to speak at the GIST Developers Conference.

The event debuted last year and attracted roughly 50,000 visitors. This year’s Gaming Istanbul will run from Thursday, February 2nd to Sunday, February 5th. The Developers Conference will take place one day before on February 1st.

Studios interested in speaking can do so via the Gaming Istanbul website. The organisers, GL Events, will be detailing which subjects they are interested in, with a few already suggested.

Unsurprisingly, virtual reality is expected to be a hot topic, while GL Events is also interested in dev insights on successful market entries into Turkey and other MENA territories. Pipeline management, plus HR and support opportunities for companies recruiting in Turkey are also welcome.

The deadline for applications is November 25th.
