The Mustard Corporation on board as it begins to develop its own games

Interactive narrative group joins TIGA

A Newcastle-based group of writers have become the latest member of game industry association TIGA.

Known as The Mustard Corporation, the group has worked on scripts for game franchises such as Broken Sword and Driver. The firm also writes for TV and other media.

The group’s union with TIGA coincides with its new bid to make its own iPad and smartphone games.

“TIGA has become a dynamic and influential trade association – we are proud to become members. We are particularly excited by TIGA’s desire to draw the worlds of publishing, TV and film closer to the games industry through the Creative Industry Switch initiative,” said Mustard Corporation director Maurice Suckling.

“At The Mustard Corporation we have an unmatched understanding of interactive narrative. We work with TV and film companies wishing to explore the mysteries of the game space and with games companies who are passionate about creating credible worlds, engaging characters and movie-quality dialogue in their games.”
