Lost Planet 3 landing in 2013

Mixed in the plethora of reveals during Capcom’s annual Captivate event last week was the news that a third Lost Planet title both exists and is in development.

Lost Planet 3 will be handled by Spark Unlimited, developers of Call of Duty: Finest Hour and Legacy.

The announcement trailer shows off environments closer to the cold, jagged look of the original Lost Planet, as opposed to the more colorful backdrops in Lost Planet 2.

The game is targeted for an early 2013 release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Capcom added a full, ‘official’ announcement is coming soon.
