MCV appoints Editor-In-Chief

Your MCV team has undergone a series of staff changes which will further cement its standing as the games trade’s most essential publication in print and online.

Current Develop editor Michael French becomes editor-in-chief of both MCV and Develop, with Tim Ingham set to take up the position of associate editor on the magazine – whilst retaining his role as online editor.

Ben Parfitt moves over to become news editor on MCVUK.com and Developmag.com. Parfitt also becomes editor of Casualgaming.biz, whilst retaining his position as MCV’s retail editor.

Current editor Neil Long departs on October 24th, moving to Future Publishing as editor of Official Nintendo Magazine.

He will take over from Chandra Nair, who is leaving to pursue other avenues of the games industry and further his music career.

Meanwhile in the MCV advertising team, Lesley Blumson has been promoted to group advertising manager, with Rob Baker stepping up to become advertising executive.
