New Mana Bar to open in Melbourne

The Mana Bar, Australia’s only video game-themed cocktail bar, will open a second venue, in Melbourne, later this month – and has plans to eventually go global.

The first venue opened in Brisbane on March 20 2010 and has been a huge success. The Melbourne bar will open on July 16th.

Guy Blomberg, co-owner of The Mana Bar, said: Melbourne is such a hub for the gaming industry. The Mana Bar will be a perfect fit down here – not to mention the nightlife culture (especially around where we are located) is vibrant and busy seven days a week.”

There will be many more Mana Bar opening parties in other cities and around the world, however right now it’s a case of one step – one venue – at a time.”

The Mana Bar runs games events each night of the week, offers prizes and givaways to customers and also sells games from behind the bar.
