The Sun shines at Industry Quiz

The Sun were victorious at last night’s MCV/Xbox 360 Industry Pub Quiz, after fighting off stiff competition from Sainsburys and Turner Media.

A mixture of retailers, media and publishers gathered at London’s Sway Bar to battle to be the biggest brains in games, and win some pretty spectacular prizes, including Xbox 360 Elites and copies of Halo 3: ODST for the overall winners.

The Round Sponsors were D3P, EA’s FIFA 10, GLS Games, Koch Media, Nintendo, Sega, Turner Meda Innovations and Ubisoft, with each of them offering cool spot prizes, which were won by GLS Games, Future Publishing, Xomy, Turner, D3P, and IGN.

There was even a tense tie-breaker moment between Ubisoft and ShopTo as they fought for a spot prize, with the publisher emerging triumphant.

Just below the battle for top spot, Sainsburys ended up as the leading retailer, whilst Turner Media and IGN also held their own.

The final standings were:

1. The Sun
2. Sainsburys
3. Turner Media
4. IGN
5. Amazon

8. Ubisoft
9. Sega
