Fred Hasson departs from Redbedlam after a two-year stint

Tiga founder joins games investment firm

It has emerged that Fred Hasson, founder and former CEO of UK trade body Tiga, has departed from his executive director role at RedBedlam.

“I will now be devoting my time with a new venture Games Capital,” Hasson told Develop.

Games Capital is a Brighton-based investment broker, which looks to put game studios in front of businesses.

Hasson joined Games Capital in May as its Chair. He founded Tiga in 2001 and departed from his CEO role in 2008. Following that he worked as a games consultant before, in May 2008, he joined Redbedlam.

His new enterprise seeks to “promote entrepreneurship, build links with, and find new investors, and to increase the funding and financing, of new ventures in the interactive media sectors.”
