Tiga leads Treasury lobby

Tiga continues to keep the pressure up on the UK Government for a games industry tax break, today leading a delegation of developers to the Treasury to put forward the case for subsidies helping games development.

The trade association, along with delegates from members Blitz Games Studios, Rebellion, Reflections, and Team 17 today met with HM Treasury reps.

Richard Wilson, CEO of Tiga, commented: “Our industry expects, our employees deserve and the arguments justify an examination by the Government of the case for a tax break for UK games production.

A tax break for UK games production will put the industry on a more level playing field vis-a-vis our competitors. We welcome the opportunity to engage with HM Treasury.”
