Speakers confirmed for the Tiga/NESTA Play Together event at Westminster

Tiga prepares for commons debate

Tiga has announced its full list of speakers for the launch of the Play Together event, set to be held in London’s House of Commons on June 15.

The event is held in cooperation with the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts (NESTA), and aims to debate and discuss issues of skills, innovation and cross-industry collaboration in the entertainment sector.

The conference will see MPs meet with representatives from the games, movie, music, animation and TV sector.

The list of confirmed speakers are:

• Jason Kingsley, Rebellion Creative Director and CEO
• John Whittingdale, Chairman of the House of Commons Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee
• Richard Wilson, Tiga CEO
• Jon Kingsbury, NESTA, Programme Director, Creative Economy
• Bill Olner, MP for Nuneaton and sponsor of event

The event begins from 12 noon, tickets are available only to “senior games industry professionals and affiliate industries”. Tiga adds that its space preference will be given to current Tiga members.
