Mega Man feature film in the works – report

Mega Man is heading to the big screen, according to a new entertainment report.

The Tracking Boardclaims to offer exclusive Hollywood insider information” on the matter, stating that a feature film based on the video game icon is being co-produced by 20thCentury Fox and Chernin Entertainment.

A handful of key members involved in the film’s development worked together on the most recent Planet of the Apes reboot, which perhaps suggests we’ll have a live-action science fiction take on Capcom’s property to look forward to. Beyond those bits, details are scant.

Capcom’s franchise has been active as of late, with the Mega Man Legacy Collectionlaunching last monthon PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
