Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes hits 720p on Xbox One, 1080p on PS4

Yet another high-profile multi-platform release has been confirmed as running at a higher resolution on Sony’s next-gen console.

Konami confirmed as part of a screenshot comparison that while the PS4 version of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes runs at 1080p, the Xbox One release only manages 720p, the same as on both PS3 and Xbox 360.

Note however that these latter two versions use an internal upscaling mechanism to reach 720p.

Both PS4 and Xbox One will run at 60fps, with the PS3 and Xbox 360 releases running at 30fps.
