MICROSOFT: Fable The Journey announced

Development legend Peter Molyneux has taken to Microsoft’s E3 stage to announce his brand new title – Fable: The Journey.

"Heroes are no longer born – they must be made" was the leading tag line in a title that promises a departure from the template set down by its two predecessors.

The most interesting difference? A first person perspective and full Kinect support. The on-stage demo saw the game being controlled completely by a joypad-less operator. He didn’t seem to be controlling the movement, though was orchestrating the combat and dodging attacks.

Fable: The Journey will be released in 2012.
