Microsoft quiet on Ross’ Natal claims

Platform holder Microsoft has refused to clarify comments made by BBC presenter Jonathan Ross that appeared to confirm an October launch for the Xbox 360 motion-sensing camera Natal.

Following a hands-on with the device, Ross said on Twitter last night that Microsoft has until October and if they get it right”.

However, a Microsoft spokesperson has told MCV that: There have been no further announcements on the release date of Project Natal – it remains scheduled for Christmas 2010.”

Information obtained by MCV late last year suggests that the platform holder is preparing a November launch for Natal and an RRP below 50.
