Microsoft reveals Surface pricing

Microsoft has revealed pricing for Surface ahead of the tablet’s release later this month.

The 32GB Surface will be offered at $499 on its own, and $599 packaged with the black keyboard Touch Cover. A 64GB model plus black keyboard Touch Cover is also available for $699.

Touch Covers in various colors can be purchased for $119 individually, with a thichker, supposedly more efficient Type Cover offered at $129.

The products’ pre-order delivery date is advertised as October 26th, matching up with Microsoft’s midnight release plans for the tablet alongside the launch of Windows 8.
