iPad Mini announcement expected next week

It looks as though we’re just a week off from the long-rumoured iPad Mini unveiling, as Apple has issued invitations for an event next Tuesday.

CNET reports Apple has sent out invites for an October 23rd press gathering with the pictured tagline.

While the iPad Mini is the assumed headliner, 9to5Mac also reports that a new 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display and new Mac Minis will be announced as well.

For not actually being announced yet, we know quite a bit about Apple’s upcoming device. Hell, we’ve even seenpictures of it.

One thing that still isn’t clear is when the tablet will actually release. An October launch has been predicted often, but with just a week between the reveal and the end of the month it seems more likely we’ll insteadsee it sometime in November.
