MICROSOFT: Tomb Raider DLC exclusive to 360

Xbox has won another DLC exclusivity deal, this time with Square Enix’s Tomb Raider.

New footage from the reboot of Lara Croft’s adventures was shown on stage during the format holder’s E3 press conference.

Following the demo, the game’s the developers confirmed that the game would be supported with several batches of downloadable content and that these would be exclusive to Xbox 360.

This presumably refers to timed exclusivity, similar to the long-running deal Microsoft has with Activision for Call of Duty.

Tomb Raider is due in early 2013.
