MICROSOFT: Watch the publisher’s E3 press briefing HERE

Microsoft is once again kicking off the platform holder conferences at this year’s E3 tonight at 5:30pm UK time.

Though the publisher has come along way since the ‘eventful’ E3 2013, it needs to have a strong showing to try and narrow the gap between the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

And with Xbox boss Phil Spencer saying last year that Microsoft had an abundance of content on the way, we might be in for an impressive showing from the Xbox company. Likely being shown will be Halo 5: Guardians, Forza 6 and an Xbox One Gears of War title.

Of course, MCV will be covering the event and bringing you the headlines as and when they happen.
