MICROSOFT: Xbox One players will now be able to pre-load games

Future Xbox One games will support pre-loading ahead of release, Microsoft has announced.

Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, closed out the firm’s Gamescom stage presentation by confirming that Forza Horizon 2 would be the first title to allow players to pre-order and download the game ahead of release.

Spencer added that FIFA 15 would also be among the first games to support the feature, with more and more games to be available for pre-loading in the future.

Sony recently announced a similar feature for the PS4 back in June, with Battlefield Hardline, Destiny and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare among the titles confirmed for pre-loading support.
