Midway unveils This is Vegas

US publisher Midway has today announced This is Vegas, a brand new title in its next-gen stable that promises ‘open world lifestyle action experience’ gameplay.

The game, which is in development from internal studio Surreal, is due for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this winter. The game promises a more adult take on the free-roaming formula, allowing players to fight, gamble, drive and party their way through the famous US city.

"We are thrilled to be unveiling the first-ever videogame experience which allows players to live out their wildest Vegas fantasies," Surreal studio head Alan Patmore stated.

"Whether it’s partying in the hottest night clubs, racing in underground circuits, testing your luck at the tables or getting into a barroom brawl, This is Vegas has it all."
