Minecraft 360 edition ‘Adventure Update’ lands today

The Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft is set to receive the content-packed ‘Adventure Update’ sometime later today.

The game’s console developer 4J Studios revealed on Twitter that the patch had passed Microsoft certification and its arrival is now imminent.

Along with the expected bug fixes and tweaks update 1.8.2 adds new biomes, new mobs, and new food, along with creative mode, sprinting, hunger, and more.

Mojang’s indie hit has already sold over 4m copies on the console, and when we were last updated it was churning out around 27,000 sales a day on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
