Miyamoto confirms new Wii Zelda

Development legend Shigeru Miyamoto has revealed tantalising first details for its new Zelda game on Wii.

Discussed during a roundtable and reported by Gamespot, Miyamoto said he hopes to see the game hit shelves next year, and incorporates Wii MotionPlus – so much so that it may require the device to play.

The Nintendo boss also went onto to show some concept art, and said he wanted to reveal the game at this year’s E3, but chose to focus on development instead.

Last night Nintendo announced a series of games aimed at the more core Nintendo gamer, including Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M.
