Developers dash to use Apple portable device's development kit just a week after its launch

100,000 downloads for iPhone SDK

Apple’s iPhone SDK had been downloaded 100,000 times since its release on March 6th, our sister magazine Mobile Entertainment reports.

The free beta iPhone SDK provides developers with the same set of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and tools that Apple uses to create its native applications for iPhone and iPod touch.

The iPhone SDK can be downloaded at developer.apple.com/iphone/program.
