6,000 iPhone games now available

The credibility of Apple’s iPhone as a serious contender in the modern platform market has been given a big boost with the news that over 6,000 games are now available for the system.

The number also points to Apple’s content provider, the App Store, as a hugely important publishing route for video games companies.
