Analytics firm App Annie plans Singapore office

Mobile analytics firm App Annie has opened a new office in Singapore.

The company said the move was due to the flourishing and fast-growing mobile market in India and Southeast Asia. It claimed the INSEA and ANZ regions were almost as large as China, Japan and South Korea combined in terms of number of iOS and Google Play app downloads in Q4 2014.

The office will officially open as early as April and App Annie expects to hire up to ten new staff for the branch. The team will be tasked with supporting the region’s growth as well as conducting sales and marketing across Asia.
