Boss Key reveals core development team

Cliff Bleszinski’s new studio Boss Key Productions has confirmed a new wave of hires, bringing on industry veterans from Call of Duty, Far Cry and Bleszinski’s own Gears of War franchise.

CVG reports on the additions, which includes senior producer Chris Mielke (Gears of War: Judgment, Infinity Blade III), senior gameplay programmer Joshua Parker (Far Cry 4, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier), senior character artist Chris Wells (Gears of War trilogy), IT director Shane Smith (Grand Theft Auto V, Bioshock Infinite, Gears of War 3), senior concept artist James Hawkins and executive assistant Sarah Asby (Gears of War Trilogy, Unreal Tournament 3).

"The key to building a successful company is to surround yourself with quality people, especially the ones who can do things you can’t," Bleszinski said.

"[Boss Key co-founder] Arjan [Brussee] and I are excited to continue working with some of the people who have inspired us and helped us create great work in the past, as well as to hire fresh blood to bring new perspectives and talents to the table."

With the backing of Nexon, Boss Key is currently working on its first title – an upcoming free-to-play shooter currently codenamed Project BlueStreak.
